"A Call to Compassionate Action"
This is not about politics—this is about people. Our commitment to social action is not rooted in party allegiance but in our Christian obligation to care for the least of these (Matthew 25:40). Justice is not a partisan issue. Dignity, equity, and compassion transcend political divisions. As a Church, our responsibility is not to endorse candidates but to
advocate for policies and actions that uplift communities, protect human rights, and ensure a just society for all. For these reasons, the Seventh Episcopal District is launching 11 Social Action Initiatives — not as a symbolic gesture, but as a tangible expression of our faith in action. Our compassion requires more than words; it requires bold, strategic, and sustained effort.
Over the next few weeks, we will provide resources, training, and opportunities to familiarize yourself with these initiatives. This is not the work of a few—it is the work of an entire faith community committed to making a difference. Our ancestors fought too hard for us to retreat now. Our children’s futures depend on what we do today. Our faith demands that we be more than hearers of the Word, but doers also (James 1:22).
